I started this week our very first tomato plants!

My little man is now 22 months old, and another month closer to the big 2YR OLD mark! He's becoming such a little MAN. Obsessed with trucks, tractors, and balls.. he's boy through and through. Just Tuesday we went to the Library for some books and now for the 3rd time we've checked out "Dozer" by Ian Pillanger. Just this little cardboard thick book all about this dozer and what dozer can do! But we will sit down and read the thing 5-10 times in a row! Or as much as mommy can handle :) We've surpassed 150 books of our 1,000 books before kindegarden challenge. I'm just thankful Aj likes to read and be read to.

Now our next big challenge is potty training. I've set up his own potty next to the toilet in the bathroom... I've got a candy "treat" jar for when he uses it, and we've even purchased him his first set of "cars" underwear! Now, the true test begins :) So far we've not ditched the diapers completely just yet but we are sitting on the potty 2-3 times a day, hoping Aj will catch on and make the connection. So far so good & no potty trauma either... I know I know, soon enough this stage will be over and I'll be wondering where it went and how it went so fast!
